Hero Vida VX2 Go 3.4 kWh Launched At ₹1.02 Lakh - 100km Range, BaaS Price ₹60k
Hero MotoCorp's electric-mobility sub-brand Vida has launched the Hero Vida VX2 Go 3.4 kWh electric scooter in India, priced at ₹1,02,000 ex-showroom (Delhi, after subsidies). Deliveries for the new Vida VX2 variant will start later this month.
The Hero Vida VX2 Go 3.4 kWh is also offered with the Battery-as-a-Service option, which enables purchase with a lower upfront cost of Rs 60,000 with a pay-per-kilometre rate of Rs 0.90.
The Hero Vida VX2 Go 3.4 kWh uses a dual removable-battery arrangement, yielding a claimed real-world range of up to 100 km on a single charge. The layout allows one or both batteries to be removed and charged at home, improving daily usability for customers living in apartments.
The Hero Vida VX2 Go 3.4 kWh is powered by a mid-mounted electric motor with a peak output of 8bhp and 26 Nm of torque. The scooter supports two riding modes-Eco and Ride - with the latter allowing for a top speed of 70 km/h.
The Hero Vida VX2 Go 3.4 kWh offers 27.2 litres of under-seat storage, a flat floorboard and ergonomics tuned for comfort. Vida says suspension and tyre choices have been tuned to Indian roads to balance comfort and handling for both solo and two-up riding.
Connectivity elements on the Hero Vida VX2 Go 3.4 kWh include smartphone integration and basic telematics for ride diagnostics. The scooter's instrumentation provides details about the battery state, range estimate and the selected mode among others.
