EICMA 2025: Hero Unveils Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition, India Launch Coming Soon
The EICMA 2025 event showcased many new products from multiple two-wheeler brands worldwide. Many Indian brands have also participated in the event, and one of the bikes that caught people's attention was the Hero Xpulse 210 Dakar edition. Other than this, Hero also unveiled its new Hero Hunk 440x, which came as a surprise.
Hero Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition

The design looks very similar to the standard Xpulse but gets a new Dakar edition livery. The bikes also come with longer-travel, fully adjustable suspension, making them perfectly suitable for off-roading. It has 280mm travel at both ends and 270mm ground clearance.
Because of its tall stance, the seat height has also increased over the standard Xpuls, which is 830mm. It features the same 4.2-inch TFT display, LED projector headlight and taillights, Bluetooth connectivity, and Navigation.
The Xpulse Dakar edition is powered by the same 210cc single-cylinder DOHC liquid-cooled engine, which produces 24.6 hp and 20.7 Nm of torque. This bike is likely to get launched in India by the end of this year. Xpulse 210 costs 1.71 lakhs (ex-showroom), and this Dakar edition will carry a more premium price tag. Hero is already selling a Dakar edition in Xpulse 200 at 1.54 lakh rupees (ex-showroom).
Hero Hunk 440 SX

One of the biggest surprises was the unveiling of the new Hunk 440 SX. This bike looks similar to the 440x but gets a tall windscreen, a new split-seat setup, and braced handlebars, and also comes with a twin vertical exhaust system. It has the same 440cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine.
Other features include ride-by-wire throttle, Multiple riding modes, switchable ABS, and the same TFT control system as the regular X440 bike. Hero hasn't announced anything about the possibility of this bike reaching indian shores. But we can expect this bike to be launched next year against the Royal Enfield's 350cc bikes.
