Hero MotoCorp Teases New Glamour 125 Ahead Of Launch - Will Get Cruise Control

Hero MotoCorp is preparing to launch the Glamour 125, anticipated to feature cruise control and a digital instrument cluster, marking a significant advance in the 125cc motorcycle segment in India.

Hero MotoCorp, the world's largest motorcycle manufacturer, is gearing up to introduce a new 125cc two-wheeler in India. This vehicle is anticipated to be the most advanced in its category. The company, known for its Splendor commuter bike, has hinted at the launch of the 2025 Glamour 125, which may feature cruise control.

The 125cc segment is crucial for two-wheeler manufacturers in India due to its high sales potential. Companies like Bajaj, Honda, Hero, and TVS fiercely compete in this space. Hero MotoCorp aims to elevate its position with a new offering that promises to be India's most futuristic 125cc motorcycle.

A recent teaser from Hero suggests that the next-generation Glamour 125 will include cruise control. This feature was spotted on a test mule of the upcoming Hero Glamour 125 by Rushlane with the function being operated via a toggle on the switchgear.

Introducing cruise control on an affordable commuter bike is unusual due to cost considerations. Hero MotoCorp already offers cruise control on its budget-friendly Vida V2 scooters. It might employ a similar system for the new Glamour 125 to keep it accessible for a broader audience. Additionally, the bike is expected to have a fully digital colour LCD instrument cluster.

The new Hero Glamour 125 is expected to keep using the existing bike's 124.7cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine. This engine delivers a peak power of 10.39 bhp and peak torque of 10.4 Nm and is paired with a 5-speewd gearbox.

With the addition of all the new tech, prices for the Glamour 125 is expected to increase slightly compared to previous models. Hero MotoCorp has a history of incorporating unique features into their products to distinguish them in the market with the best-selling Splendor showing off features like disc brakes and LED headlights.

The same approach could be applied to the Glamour 125, positioning it as India's most futuristic 125cc two-wheeler. Such innovations could enhance its appeal among consumers seeking advanced yet affordable motorcycles.

This development highlights Hero MotoCorp's commitment to innovation within competitive segments. By introducing cutting-edge features at accessible price points, they aim to strengthen their market presence and attract more customers.
