Hero MotoCorp Achieves Significant 21.47% Year-on-Year Sales Growth In July 2025
Hero MotoCorp, has disclosed its sales figures for July 2025. Despite relinquishing its top position to Honda, the company witnessed a significant year-on-year growth of 21.47%, with dispatches amounting to 449,755 units.
The motorcycle sector continues to dominate Hero MotoCorp's sales, constituting an 89.07% share, while scooters have also seen a substantial uptick in demand, marking a 64.44% year-on-year increase to 49,140 units from 29,884 units. This surge in scooter sales has elevated their share to 10.93%.
Overall, the domestic market enjoyed an 18.66% growth, reaching 412,397 units, compared to the previous year. The export market outperformed with a 64.29% increase, contributing to the total sales figure of 449,755 units for July 2025.
Comparing the month-on-month data, Hero MotoCorp experienced a downturn in sales. Motorcycle sales dipped by 21.86% from 512,658 units in June 2025, while scooter sales saw an 18.97% increase from 41,305 units.
The domestic market faced a sharp decline of 21.47%, totaling 412,397 units from June 2025's 525,136 units. However, exports painted a brighter picture with a 29.59% growth from 28,827 units in June 2025.
Assessing the sales performance from April to July 2025 reveals a downtrend in overall sales for Hero MotoCorp. Motorcycle sales decreased by 6% to 1,674,526 units, while scooter sales exhibited a positive trajectory with a 14.68% increase to 142,299 units.
This growth in scooters led to an additional 18,215 units sold compared to the same period in the previous year. Total domestic sales saw a decline of 6.37% to 1,715,054 units, yet exports experienced a significant rise of 38.03% to 101,771 units. Consequently, the total sales for the said period faced a 4.65% decline, amounting to 1,816,825 units.
