Hero MotoCorp Passes Full GST 2.0 Benefits To Customers - Prices Slashed By Up To ₹15,743
Hero MotoCorp, India's leading two-wheeler manufacturer, has announced that it will pass on the full benefits of the newly introduced GST 2.0 reforms to customers. Starting September 22, 2025, ex-showroom prices will fall across its two-wheeler lineup. This move aims to enhance affordability just before the festive season.
The model-wise price cuts vary widely, with the Hero Karizma 210 seeing a maximum reduction of ₹15,743. Entry-level models like the HF Deluxe benefit by up to ₹5,805, offering significant relief for budget-conscious buyers in commuter-heavy markets.

Commuter motorcycles receive strong savings too. The Splendor+ price drops by ₹6,820, while the Passion+ is more affordable by ₹6,500. These two models remain among Hero's best-selling offerings across urban, semi-urban, and rural regions.
The Super Splendor XTEC price, on the other hand, has dropped by ₹7,254 while price tag of the newly launched Glamour X 125 has dropped by ₹7,813. The Xtreme series also sees major price revisions. The Xtreme 125R is cheaper by ₹8,010. The Xtreme 160R 4V and Xtreme 250R receive reductions of ₹10,985 and ₹14,055, respectively.

Scooters benefit from GST 2.0 as well. The Destini 125's price drops up to ₹7,197, while the Pleasure+ sees a price cut of of ₹6,417. The Xoom lineup - 110, 125, and 160 - offers cuts ranging from ₹6,597 to ₹11,602.
Speaking on the announcement, Mr. Vikram Kasbekar, Chief Executive Officer, Hero MotoCorp, said: "We welcome the Government's next-gen GST 2.0 reforms, which will boost consumption, empower GDP growth, and accelerate India's journey to a $ 5 trillion economy. In addition, more than half of the Indian households use two-wheelers for their daily needs, making it critical for mass mobility. The timing is opportune and ahead of the festive season, making two-wheelers more affordable and accessible for India's largest consumer base, while giving a strong demand push. Hero MotoCorp's price reductions are aligned with the changes that other automakers have announced since the government announced the revisions to the GST rates. Add in the usual festive season time, when demand traditionally peaks, Hero's strategy is clear - to make mass mobility more affordable and stimulate demand among rural and semi-urban buyersas it looks to strengthen its leadership of the Indian two-wheeler market.
