New Design elements
The biggest drawback of the regular Harley X440 was its rear-end design. The brand has given the X400T a newly designed rear subframe that gives it a more sporty stance. It also gets two new bar-end mirrors, giving it a complete roadster look.
The rest of the design remains similar to the regular X440. It is available in Pearl Blue, Pearl Red, Pearl White and Vivid Black. It features the same neo-retro look with round headlamps, a muscular fuel tank, long seats for added comfort, and wide handlebars.

Updated Features
The X440T is now equipped with Traction Control, Ride-by-wire throttle, switchable ABS, and Riding Modes (Road and Rain). The bike has a newly designed exhaust system with a sleek heat shield. Additionally, it gets a panic brake alert, which enables all four indicators during emergency braking.
Other features include the Auto LED headlamp, DRLs, LED turn indicators, LED tail lamp, and 3.5-inch round TFT display, with smartphone connectivity. It allows Accept and Reject call features, Music control, Side Stand alert, High Beam indicator, and Missed call alert, all of which remain similar to the standard variant.

Same 440cc Engine
The X440 T features the same 440cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled 2V engine, which produces 27 bhp of power at 6,000 rpm and 38 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The bike is mated with a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper assist clutch system.
Safety Equipment
The bike's Suspension setup features a Trellis Frame, 43mm KYB USD Forks with 130mm of travel, a Twin shock absorber with 7-step preload adjustability, 320mm/240 mm disc brakes, and Diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Pricing and Verdict
Harley-Davidson has priced the new X440T at 2.79 lakhs (ex-showroom). The bookings will commence from December 7, and the bike will be sold at Harley Davidson and Hero Premia showrooms. This bike will be sold against retro models like the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Yezdi Roadster, Honda CB350, and Triumph Speed 400.
