Harley Davidson Unveils X440T With Enhanced Design & Riding Tech
Harley-Davidson has unveiled its second neo-retro motorcycle in India, the X440T. While it retains the same engine as the standard X440, the new model introduces fresh styling, graphics and updated design elements. Let's take a closer look at its key highlights.
What's New in Harley Davidson X440T
Fresh design elements
The bike now features a newly designed tail section, which is much longer than the standard bike, with an extended seat. This will now help with more pillion comfort during longer rides.
Ride by Wire Technology
The X440 T utilises the latest Ride-by-Wire technology instead of cables. It is expected to feature traction control, riding modes and switchable ABS.

Other Features
Harley Davidson X440 T now gets a bar-end mirror instead of a regular mirror, adding a more sporty look. It also comes with 4 new colour options and graphics. The exhaust is also redesigned for aesthetic appeal, and the rest of the components are identical to the standard model.
Mechanically Identical
The front design of the bike is likely to remain the same as the regular X440. This bike will feature the same 440cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine producing 27 bhp of power and 38 Nm of torque, mated with a 6-speed transmission. Additionally, it gets 43mm KYB USD forks, 7-step preload-adjustable twin shock absorbers, 320mm front and 240mm rear disc brakes.

The technology features include LED projector headlamps, Signature DRLs, LED tail lamps, Auto headlamps, 3.5-inch TFT display, and Smartphone Connectivity. The TFT display helps with turn-by-turn navigation, Music control, Bluetooth connectivity, Call and Message alerts, Range display, Side stand alert, and accept and reject call features.
The Regular Harley Davidson X440 is selling for 2.39 lakhs (ex-showroom). The X440 T will arrive with some additional features and a new design, so we expect Hero and Harley to price it around 2.50 lakhs (ex-showroom). It will be sold only in Hero Premia and Harley-Davidson showrooms.
