Harley-Davidson Street Bob 117 Launched At ₹18.77 Lakh - 1,923cc Engine, 156Nm Torque
American motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson has launched the Street Bob 117 in India. The new Harley-Davidson Street Bob 117 is priced at ₹18.77 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).
The new Street Bob 117 is the most accessible Harley equipped with the Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine and also the lightest in the American firm's lineup in India to use the 117 cubic inch motor (1,923cc for us non-americans).
The air-cooled and fuel-injected Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine pushes out 91hp at 5,020 rpm and 156Nm of peak torque at 2,750 rpm. The massive V-Twin engine is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox.
Harley-Davidson has equipped the Street Bob 117 with a host of electronic rider aids including multiple riding modes, dual-channel ABS, traction control, and cruise control. A service-due indicator and Bluetooth-enabled system with turn-by-turn navigation.
The Harley-Davidson Street Bob 117 features a tubular frame suspended off a 49mm telescopic fork at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. Braking duties on the Street Bob 117 are handled by cast aluminium disc brakes on both ends with 4-piston fixed front and 2-piston floating rear callipers.
The Street Bob 117 features a 19-inch front wheel and a 16-inch rear wheel. As standard, these wheels are cast alloys as standard. For ₹ 87,000 extra, Harley-Davidso is offering the Street Bob with cross-spoked wheels. The Street Bob 117n sports Dunlop's Harley-Davidson Series Blackwall tyres that measure 100/90 B19 at the front and 150/80 B16 at the rear.
The design of the Street Bob 117 hasn't changed much compared to its predecessor. The Street Bob 117 features ape handle bars a chopped rear fender, solo seat, slim 13.2-litre fuel tank, and a blacked-out engine. A circular instrument pod sits on the handlebar riser of the Street Bob 117. This circular unit combines an analog speedometer with an LCD panel showing the odometer, trip data, gear position, range estimate, and fuel levels.
The Harley-Davidson Street Bob 117 is offered in five colour choices. Buyers can select from Vivid Black, Billiard Gray, Centerline, Iron Horse Metallic, and Purple Abyss Denim. Bookings for the all-new Fat Bob 117 are now open at Harley-Davidson dealerships across India. Deliveries are expected to begin soon.
