Greaves Electric Mobility Limited has announced a strategic alliance with Indofast Energy to revolutionize last-mile delivery and ride-sharing services through advanced battery swapping technology. This collaboration aims to cater to the unique demands of B2B fleets and ride-sharing operators by introducing efficient electric two-wheelers (e-2W) and energy solutions.
The venture introduces the Ampere 'Magnus SW.S’, an electric scooter tailored for the demands of gig economy riders who travel over 100 kilometers daily. The scooter is engineered to support quick battery exchanges, thus significantly reducing downtime for users.
This initiative is made possible by leveraging Indofast Energy's expanding network of battery swapping stations, enabling riders to effortlessly swap out their depleted batteries for fully charged ones. The collaboration embodies Greaves' commitment to empowering lives and promoting accessible, smart, and sustainable mobility solutions, in line with Indofast Energy's goal to establish battery swapping as a primary charging solution for commuters.

The Ampere 'Magnus SW.S’ scooter is not just about its battery-swapping feature. It boasts a powerful 2.4 kW motor that ensures smooth performance across varied terrains, including steep inclines. Its capability to carry significant loads, up to 151 kg, makes it an ideal choice for heavy-duty applications. Additionally, the scooter's internet of things (IoT) enabled features enhance connectivity, offering improved fleet management solutions that promise to streamline operations for business users.
