EICMA 2025: Royal Enfield Flying Flea FF.S6 Scrambler Showcased - Launch Set For 2026
Royal Enfield has showcased the new Flying Flea FF.S6 Scrambler at EICMA 2025, expanding its electric Flying Flea motorcycle portfolio. The FF.S6 is part of the company's ongoing electric development programme and previews an upcoming production-ready urban electric scrambler planned for a 2026 launch.
The Flying Flea S6 (FFS6) motorcycle takes its name from the historic Royal Enfield Flying Flea, a lightweight 125cc model used by paratroopers during World War II. The FF.S6 adapts that heritage into an all-electric format, using a compact chassis and urban-focused geometry for short-distance commuting and light trail use.

The FF.S6 has been developed on Royal Enfield's new electric motorcycle architecture, designed to support multiple body styles. The bike uses an aluminium spine frame aimed at low weight and optimal battery placement, with the motor is housed centrally for a balanced weight distribution.
The Royal Enfield FF S6 showcased at EICMA features an electric drive unit positioned near the swingarm pivot to reduce unsprung mass. The battery pack is likely a mid-capacity unit, expected to deliver a practical range of around 150km per charge, with fast-charging capability included.

Suspension duties are managed by an upside-down telescopic fork at the front and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock. The FF.S6 runs wire-spoked wheels fitted with dual-purpose tyres, indicating its suitability for city roads and occasional light off-road use.
Braking hardware includes single disc brakes at both ends supported by dual-channel ABS. The FFS6 is also expected to include regenerative braking for improved efficiency and range recovery during deceleration.

The motorcycle's ergonomics appear upright, supported by a flat seat and a wide handlebar. This layout is aimed at ensuring comfortable posture during daily commutes and better control on varied terrain.
The FF.S6 features full LED lighting, a digital instrument display, and a USB-C charging port. The instrumentation is expected to integrate connectivity options through Royal Enfield's in-house app once production begins.

Royal Enfield confirmed that the FF.S6 is scheduled for global release in 2026. It will first go on sale in select international markets, followed by an India launch at a later stage once homologation and production localisation are complete.
The Flying Flea FF.S6 represents Royal Enfield's step toward mainstream electric motorcycles. It forms part of the company's wider EV roadmap, developed in parallel with its internal combustion portfolio and future platform programmes under the brand's global product plan.
