EICMA 2025: Norton Manx & Atlas Revealed - India Launch Confirmed
Norton Motorcycles has revealed the Manx and Atlas models as part of the brand's global comeback under TVS ownership. Norton has confirmed that the motorcycles will be part of its expansion into multiple regions, including India, as dealer planning and market operations progress.
The Norton Manx brings back a name that has a lot of historic weight in Norton's line-up. The original Manx was known for its success in racing, particularly in the Isle of Man TT era. The newly revealed Manx is styled as a café racer, and the design follows traditional Norton proportions.

The Norton Manx features a long fuel tank that stretches toward the rider, clip-on handlebars and a single-seat tail section. The motorcycle comes with a round LED headlamp and a minimal rear subframe. The fuel tank profile and seat line are shaped to recreate the silhouette of classic Norton racers.
The Norton Manx is powered by a 1,350cc V-twin engine. The chassis uses a tubular steel frame paired with premium suspension components. Öhlins suspension units are used at both ends, and braking hardware comes from Brembo.

The Manx's braking system includes dual front discs and a single disc at the rear. The Manx uses lightweight wheels and a short exhaust routing to keep mass centralised. The Norton Manx is designed to deliver a sporty riding experience, with the clip-on handlebar position creating a low and forward-leaning stance. The single-seat tail and rear-set footpegs reinforce the café racer ergonomics.
The Norton Atlas takes a different direction. Instead of a pure racer-styled motorcycle, it focuses on upright and usable riding ergonomics. The Atlas features wide handlebars, a flatter seat profile and mid-set footpegs.

The design theme of the Atlas is that of a classic British roadster with modern components. The motorcycle features a parallel-twin engine, wire-spoke wheels and a steel frame. The riding posture is upright, allowing for daily usability and longer distances without fatigue. Norton positions the Atlas as a balanced blend of classic appeal and real-world comfort.
The Atlas carries the same premium hardware philosophy seen on the Manx. Brembo brake components are used, and both motorcycles include electronic rider aids. Norton has packaged the Atlas to bring stability and predictability to its handling.

The Atlas' chassis is designed to keep steering neutral and reduce rider effort with wide handlebars and neutral geometry that place the rider in a commanding position. The seating layout supports a pillion, unlike the Manx's single-seat setup.
Both new motorcycles mark a turning point for Norton. Under TVS ownership, the company has invested in modern manufacturing processes, updated engineering practices and revised quality control. Norton has been rebuilding its product development approach, and the Manx and Atlas reflect the shift to global production readiness. The motorcycles carry premium components as part of Norton's strategy to compete in the high-end segment.
