Ducati Streetfighter V4 & V4 S Launched At ₹28.68 Lakh - 212bhp Twin Pulse Maniac
Ducati India has launched the new Streetfighter V4 range with prices starting at ₹28.68 lakh for the standard V4 and ₹32.38 lakh for the V4 S, ex-showroom. Both variants come with more power and a host of electronic aids. Deliveries and dealer dispatches begin today.
Both versions of the Ducati Streetfighter V4 use the 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine that produces 212 bhp at 13,500 rpm and 120 Nm at 11,250 rpm. The engine features a counter-rotating crankshaft and "Twin Pulse" firing order.
The chassis package continues with the aluminium Front Frame design. Ducati has paired the frame with a new hollow swingarm intended to improve cornering stability. The Streetfighter V4 uses a fully adjustable 43 mm Showa Big Piston Fork (BPF), and a fully adjustable Sachs rear monoshock. Also seen is a Sachs steering damper.
The Streetfighter V4 S differentiates itself with Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 suspension and forged aluminium wheels. The lighter battery and wheel combination reduces rotating mass and steering effort, giving the S sharper turn-in compared to the standard Streetfighter V4. Both variants feature a comprehensive electronic suite with a six-axis IMU, power modes, wheelie control, cornering ABS and the DQS 2.0 up-down quickshifter.
Braking uses Brembo components across the range, paired with the Race eCBS system that distributes braking force electronically. The Streetfighter V4 lineup uses Brembo Hypure monobloc callipers. The V4 rides on lightweight alloy (forged aluminium wheels for the V4 S) shod with Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa tyres with a 200/60 rear.
Ergonomics are revised with a reshaped seat and an altered riding triangle. Ducati's compact control layout positions switches for quick reach at speed, and the TFT display provides riding mode, suspension and intervention data without interrupting rider attention.
