Ducati Multistrada V2 Launched At ₹18.88 Lakh - New V-Twin Engine, Redesigned Aluminium Frame

Ducati has launched the 2025 Multistrada V2 in India, priced from ₹18.88 lakh (ex-showroom). The adventure-tourer features a new 890cc V-twin engine and a lighter aluminium frame, improving performance, agility and efficiency across its middleweight lineup.

The design of the Ducati Multistrada V2 takes inspiration from the larger Multistrada V4, featuring a sharper fairing, integrated tail section and a taller windscreen. Ducati engineers have focused on mass centralisation and reduced weight for better handling and long-distance comfort.

The Multistrada V2's 890cc liquid-cooled 90-degree V-twin produces 115 PS at 10,750 rpm and 92.1 Nm at 8,250 rpm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The engine weighs just 54.4 kg and offers extended 45,000 km valve-clearance intervals.

The Multistrada V2 offers five riding modes - Sport, Touring, Urban, Enduro and Wet - alongside cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, engine-brake control, and cruise control integrated through Ducati's latest rider assist suite. All these can be accessed through the 5-inch TFT display.

The Ducati Multistrada V2 uses a new aluminium monocoque frame and a reworked swingarm for improved rigidity and cornering precision. The suspension setup includes a 45 mm upside-down fork and a rear monoshock with 170 mm travel.

The Multistrada V2 rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels shod with Pirelli Scorpion Trail 2 tyres. The seat height is adjustable between 830 mm and 850 mm, with optional accessories available to lower it further. Kerb weight is listed at 202 kg.

The V2 S variant gains semi-active suspension, a bidirectional quickshifter and Ducati Brake Light EVO, which flashes automatically under hard braking. These systems expand adaptability across mixed terrain and varying load conditions.
