EICMA 2025: CFMoto Unveils The Flagship 200bhp V4 SR-RR Prototype
Chinese Automaker CFMoto has unveiled a new superbike prototype at EICMA 2025. This V4 SR-RR will be their future flagship with 210bhp and active aerodynamics. The bike's design is identical to the sculpted CFMoto model, displayed at last year's EICMA 2025 event.
CFMoto V4 SR-RR Prototype features
At the front, we can see a large fairing, twin LED headlamps and huge active aero winglets at the sides, which will be a game-changer. These active aerodynamic features will help the bike achieve maximum downforce, and it's a major threat to its rivals. Nowadays, many superbike manufacturers focus on aerodynamics to achieve maximum downforce, and CFMoto has taken the same approach with this V4 SR-RR prototype.

The biggest highlight of this machine is its newly developed 997cc, 90-degree V4 engine, which produces a mighty 210bhp and is Euro 5+ emissions compliant. CF Moto has brilliantly balanced the power-to-weight ratio, giving this bike an edge against its competitors in power delivery and acceleration.
CFMoto has also equipped the bike with a semi-active electronically adjustable suspension system and footpegs. At the rear, there is an aluminium swingarm, which helps keep the bike under 200kg. The lighter the bike, the more throw it gets with sudden acceleration.
It also features some of the best components, including a Brembo GP4-RR brake callipers, a steering damper, Pirelli tyres and a twin-barrel Akropovic exhaust system. CF Moto displayed two bikes: one black with silver, and the other a camouflaged prototype with the 'Proto 5' label.

In the last few years, Chinese automakers like CFMoto have advanced far better than their competitors. Though we still don't know its full technical specifications, it is definitely their premium flagship model, and it will feature top-notch equipment.
This prototype's production model is expected to be launched at next year's EICMA event, with sales starting by 2027. Once launched, the CFMoto V4 SR-RR will go against the Ducati Panigale V4 and other similar bikes such as the Yamaha YZF-R1, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR, and Aprilia RSV4.
