BMW Vision CE Concept Unveiled: The Future Of Biking Or A Just Too Weird?
BMW Motorrad has revealed the Vision CE ahead of IAA Mobility 2025, a concept that challenges how riders think about safety on two wheels. The design includes a reinforced metallic cage around the rider, built to protect the hips and shoulders in case of a fall.
Inside the frame of the Vision CE Concept sits a five-point seatbelt system, similar to what you'd find in sports cars. Foam padding softens the impact zones, while the structure itself integrates seamlessly into the bike's chassis.

The Vision CE draws inspiration from BMW's C1 scooter from 25 years ago, but with modern materials and sharper styling. Its open layout allows riders to enjoy the open air without helmets or heavy clothing.
One of the standout features of the BMW Vision CE concept is the self-balancing system. The concept bike can remain upright even at a complete stop, removing the usual wobble or need to put a foot down. The proportions add to that ease of use. A stretched wheelbase, forward-set footpegs, and relaxed riding posture give the Vision CE a stable presence.

BMW Motorrad has paired these design cues with an electric powertrain. With the Vision CE Concept shows us what a safe, zero-emissions riding future with built-in safety could look like.
The Vision CE sits alongside BMW's CE 04 and CE 02 in the brand's urban mobility family. However, unlike those production models, this concept shows how future commuters could ride with freedom-without layering up in gear before heading out.

The BMW Vision CE will be showcased to the general public at the IAA Munich Motor Show, which starts on the 9th of September. However, production plans remain unclear, at least for now. For now, the Vision CE concept remains yet another wild concept from BMW. Let's just hope it makes it to production in some form.
