BMW G 310 RR Limited Edition Launched At Rs 2.99 Lakh - 310 Units Only, Visually Different
BMW Motorrad has launched the BMW G 310 RR Limited Edition in India, priced at Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The BMW G 310 RR Limited Edition in India commemorates the milestone of 10,000 unit sales of the BMW G 310 RR since its launch in India.
The BMW G 310 RR Limited Edition receives a full body decal kit that highlights its sporty profile and differentiates it from the "regular" bike. The graphics extend to the wheel rims, while a '1/310' badge sits on the fuel tank to mark the exclusivity of the limited production run. The motorcycle is offered in two paint schemes - Cosmic Black and Polar White.
The BMW G 310 RR Limited Edition continues to use a water-cooled, single-cylinder, 312cc four-stroke engine with electronic fuel injection. The unit develops 34bhp at 9,700rpm and 27.3Nm at 7,700rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a race-tuned anti-hopping clutch.
Four riding modes are available - Track, Sport, Urban and Rain. Each mode adjusts throttle response and ABS intervention, with Track focusing on aggressive acceleration and late braking, while Rain maximises stability in wet conditions. Ride-by-wire technology ensures precise throttle control across all modes.
The BMW G 310 RR Limited Edition's chassis features a tubular steel frame with a bolt-on rear section. Suspension duties are handled by 41mm gold-finished upside-down forks at the front and a mono-shock with aluminium swingarm at the rear.
Braking is managed by a dual-channel ABS system combined with disc brakes at both ends. The ABS has been calibrated to provide controlled deceleration across varied road conditions. Michelin Pilot Street radial tyres are the standard fitment.
The BMW G 310 RR Limited Edition, like the regular G 310 RR features a full fairing with aerodynamic shaping. Other features include a transparent visor, full-LED headlights, and blacked-out handlebars, while the Ram air intake and gill vents assist with cooling efficiency during sustained high-speed riding.
The BMW G 310 RR Limited Edition is equipped with a 5-inch TFT display that provides riding statistics, speed, mode selection, and temperature readouts. The Infotainment Control Switch allows riders to navigate menus and adjust functions directly from the handlebars.
