BMW Motorrad CEO Gives Sneak Peek At F 450 GS ADV Ahead Of EICMA 2025 Debut
German two-wheeler manufacturer BMW Motorrad is set to reveal the production-ready F 450 GS at EICMA 2025 tomorrow (November 4). However, the firm's CEO, Markus Flasch, has given the world a sneak peek at the BMW F 450 GS ahead of its global debut tomorrow in Milan, Italy.
The new BMW F 450 GS will serve as the Bavarian marque's new entry-level adventure tourer and is slated for a 2026 launch in India, where it is expected to be priced at around the ₹ 5 lakh (ex-showroom) mark.

The BMW F 450 GS is powered by a new 450 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine co-developed with TVS. Power output from the new twin-cylinder engine is expected to be around 48 PS, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox and even a semi-automatic transmission.
The F 450 GS's design takes styling cues from the larger GS family, featuring a compact rally-inspired front end, 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels, a tall stance, and long-travel suspension. A new trellis frame with a bolt-on subframe is part of BMW's effort to make the bike lightweight and durable for touring and trail duties.
The new BMW F 450 GS ADV uses an upside-down front fork and a monoshock rear setup with preload adjustment for adventure-ready comfort. The under-belly bash plate, LED headlamp unit, and windscreen further underline its off-road intention, while the single-piece seat and upright ergonomics are designed for comfort on long journeys.
The F 450 GS is equipped with a TFT instrument display set to offer Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, and rider-assist readouts. Standard features include cornering ABS, traction control, ride-by-wire throttle, and multiple riding modes are also expected to arrive..
The F 450 GS will serve as BMW's smallest GS model globally and compete with adventure tourers such as the Honda NX500, Benelli TRK 502, and the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. The bike will be produced in India through BMW's partnership with TVS at the Hosur facility.
The BMW F 450 GS will make its official debut tomorrow evening (Indian time) at EICMA 2025 in Milan and it will mark a new chance for the German marque to crack the middleweight segment. If it does come at around the ₹5 lakh (ex-showroom) mark,it will beone of the more expensive options in the segment in India, currently doinated by the Royal Enfield Himalayan and KTM's 390 Adventure.
