BMW F 450 GS: Features we know so far
A New Parallel-Twin Engine
BMW has developed the engine in collaboration with its partner TVS. It has a 450cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine that produces 48 BHP and 43 NM of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Iconic GS design
The bike design looks the same as its GS siblings. It has the same blue-white-themed livery, with the front beak connected to the X-LED headlamp, BMW GS flyline, muscular body with a high windscreen, Mirrors, and knuckle guards.
Equipment
As it is an off-roader, it comes with Enduro footrests, which offer a high level of grip for off-roading and while standing. BMW has also given this bike an adjustable handlebar lever and suspension system for better comfort and control. It also has a 43mm Golden Upside-down (USD) fork, which provides great damping and an aluminium engine guard for protection.

Technology
BMW has introduced features like the ERC-Easy Ride Clutch, similar to TVS's GTT (Glide through Traffic), Riding Modes (Rain, Enduro, Road modes), ABS, and Shift Assistant Pro, which allows gear changes without holding the clutch.
Other details
The bike has one confirmed colour: Racing Blue metallic with red and white accents. The tank capacity is around 13 litres, and the total kerb weight is just 180 kilograms, making it light and agile, offering superior control and grip even on bad roads.
It also gets options like a Tinted windscreen and forged wheels, excluding the US Market. BMW has not revealed anything about its launch, but we expect it by mid-2026. Delivery of the bike is expected to start in late 2026. There is also news that BMW has opened its unofficial bookings in India.
