In a bid to combat the rising trend of dangerous stunts such as wheelies, stoppies, and street racing on Bangalore's public roads, the city's Traffic Police has initiated stringent measures. The Joint Commissioner of Traffic Police highlighted the gravity of the situation by announcing that those found engaging in such activities would face severe consequences.

Among these, the immediate cancellation of the offender's driving license and vehicle's registration certificate stands out as a stark warning. Taking to their Instagram page, the Bengaluru Traffic Police released a video wherein M.N. Anucheth, the Joint Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru Traffic Police, made it clear that individuals caught performing stunts on public roads would face strict actions. These actions include the seizure of their vehicles and the cancellation of their driving licenses. Anucheth further added that in cases where the stunt performer is underage, the vehicle owner's driving license will be revoked.

Furthermore, to deter repeat offenders, the Bengaluru Traffic Police will not only file criminal cases against those apprehended for stunts and racing but will also require them to sign undertakings. Should they be caught violating the law again, they will face cognizable offenses, indicating the police's commitment to enforcing road safety and public order.
