EV Scooter Sales October 2025: Bajaj beats TVS, Ola falls big
The electric two-wheeler segment saw a massive sales growth of 2.04 lakh units in the month of October. India's top automaker, Bajaj, is now the new leader in the EV segment, beating its longtime rival TVS. At the same time, OLA Electric has slipped back to fourth position behind Ather Energy in EV sales.

1. Bajaj Auto
Traditional Auto maker Bajaj Auto is now the leader of India's EV two-wheelers as they have beaten their rival TVS in the overall sales figures. October 2025 was one of the best months in recent years for the auto industry, as both four-wheeler and two-wheeler sales grew massively.
Thanks to the festival season and the new GST reforms, which helped the overall EV scooter sales in India. According to the government's Vahan portal, Bajaj became the new king of EVs, beating TVS with an overall sales of 29,597 units, holding a 21.9% market share. The Bajaj Chetak series is now the best-selling scooter in the EV segment.
2. TVS Motor Company
Hosur-based TVS Motors has slipped to the second spot with an overall sales figure of 28,008 units in the month of October. TVS was the market leader for the last six months. They still hold a 20.7% share in the EV Scooter segment.
3. Ather Energy
Another leading EV manufacturer, Ather Energy, had their best-ever monthly sales of 26,713 units. Ather is now third in EV sales and holds 19.6% market share in India
4. Ola Electric
Ola slid to fourth spot behind Ather Energy in October 2025. At one point, Ola Electric was leading the EV segment with massive sales figures. But due to several issues, they have fallen behind their rivals. Ola Electric's October 2025 sales were down to 15,481 units with 11.6% market share.
5. Hero Vida
Hero Motocorp's very own electric brand, Vida electric scooters, sold 15,064 units in the month of October. They are fifth in the October 2025 sales figures with 11.00% market share.
