Bajaj Pulsar N160 Launched At ₹123,983 - Gets Golden USD Forks & Single Seat
Pune-based automotive giant Bajaj Auto has launched a new version of the Pulsar N160 in India at ₹123,983 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Bajaj Pulsar N160 variant gets golden USD forks and a single seat setup.
The newest variant of the Bajaj Pulsar N160 sits just below the split seat version of the sporty commuter bike and is now offered with a single seat setup that replaces the split seat setup seen on the top-spec version of the motorcycle.
The new N160 variant also features USD forks, but in a gold paint scheme. The new Bajaj Pulsar N160 variant is offered in four colour options - Pearl Metallic White, Racing Red, Polar Sky Blue, and Black.
Mechanically, the new Pulsar N160 remains unchanged compared to its other siblings. The Bajaj Pulsar N160 draws power from an air-cooled, fuel-injected, 164.82cc single-cylinder engine with a single overhead camshaft and dual valves that pushes out 15.68bhp at 8,750rpm and 14.65Nm of peak torque at 6,750rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
Suspension duties on the Bajaj Pulsar N160 are taken care of by 37mm upside-down forks at the front and a Nitrox monoshock at the rear. The N160 rides on the 17-inch alloy wheels shod with 100/80 (front) and 130/70 (rear) tubeless tyres.
Braking duties on the Bajaj Pulsar N160 are carried out by a 300mm disc at the fron and a 230mm disc at the rear, aided by dual-channel ABS. This ABS setup also allows for three riding modes for the N160 - Road, Rain and Off-Road.
The Bajaj Pulsar N160 features a 1,348mm long wheelbase, a seat height of 795mm and 165mm of ground clearance. The Pulsar N160 tips the scales at 152 kilogrammes and features a 14-litre fuel tank.
The Pulsar N160 offers a Bluetooth-connected digital console with call and message alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, ABS ride modes and fuel indications. Also present is a bi-functional LED projector headlamp with LED DRLs, LED taillamps and a USB port to charge your mobile phone.
