Bajaj Pulsar N150 Discontinued In India? All Details Here
The Bajaj Pulsar series has long been a favourite in India's motorcycle market, especially in the premium commuter segment. Since its debut, the Pulsar has maintained a strong presence. However, not every model in the lineup has enjoyed equal success. Recently, the Pulsar N150 was removed from Bajaj's official website. The company hasn't clarified if this is a temporary measure or a permanent decision.
Within Bajaj's extensive range of motorcycles, there were two 150cc models: the Classic Pulsar 150 and the Pulsar N150. The latter was designed as a sportier version of its classic counterpart, borrowing design elements from its larger sibling, the Pulsar N160. Despite its sporty appeal, it seems to have struggled to capture the same level of interest among buyers.

Pulsar Sales Trends
In May 2025, Bajaj sold 15,937 units of its 150cc Pulsars in India, which included both the Classic Pulsar 150 and the Pulsar N150. This figure represents a significant drop compared to May 2024 when 29,386 units were sold. Meanwhile, sales of the 160cc models like the Pulsar N160 and NS160 reached 22,372 units, marking a year-on-year growth of nearly 25%.
The decline in sales for the 150cc models suggests that consumers are increasingly favouring the slightly more powerful 160cc options. Bajaj is actively promoting these bikes by offering features such as USD telescopic front forks and dual-channel ABS.
Potential Future Plans
Among those 15,937 units sold in May 2025, it's likely that the Classic Pulsar 150 accounted for most of them. This could be why Bajaj decided to discontinue the N150 model. Alternatively, this might be a temporary pause as Bajaj prepares to launch an updated version of the Pulsar N150.
The Pulsar N150 was equipped with a 149.68cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produced 14.3 bhp and 13.5 Nm of torque. It featured a five-speed gearbox and came with single-channel ABS and digital instruments.
DriveSpark Thinks
Bajaj's decision to focus on their more popular models reflects changing consumer preferences towards more feature-rich motorcycles. Whether or not we see a refreshed version of the N150 remains uncertain at this point.
