Bajaj Introduces Updated Dominar 400 & 250 Motorcycles: New Features Added
Bajaj has introduced the updated Dominar 400 and Dominar 250 in India. Both motorcycles now feature new electronics, touring gear, and ergonomic improvements. The Dominar 400 is priced at Rs 2.39 lakh, while the Dominar 250 costs Rs 1.92 lakh (both ex-showroom, Delhi).
The most significant update for the Dominar 400 is the inclusion of ride-by-wire technology. This addition allows for four riding modes: Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-road. These modes adjust throttle response and ABS intervention to suit different riding conditions.

Enhanced Features in the 2025 Bajaj Dominar Range
The Dominar 250 retains its mechanical throttle but now offers four ABS modes. Both models have received electronic upgrades and ergonomic changes for 2025. A colour LCD bonded glass speedometer and new switchgear from the Pulsar NS400Z are now standard on both bikes.
An integrated visor above the instrument cluster helps reduce glare, enhancing visibility for riders. Additionally, a revised handlebar design aims to improve comfort during long rides. A new carrier with a GPS mount has also been added to both models.
Mechanically, both motorcycles remain unchanged. The Dominar 400 continues with its 373cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine producing 40hp and 35Nm of torque. The Dominar 250 uses a 248.8cc motor delivering 27hp and 23.5Nm of torque.
Mechanical Specifications Remain Unchanged
Both bikes are equipped with a six-speed gearbox featuring a slipper clutch for smoother gear shifts. Bajaj has also enhanced the switchgear's appearance and feel, giving it a more premium look.
These updates aim to enhance the overall riding experience by improving comfort and functionality without altering the core mechanical components of either motorcycle.
The introduction of these features reflects Bajaj's commitment to providing advanced technology and improved ergonomics in their motorcycles while maintaining competitive pricing in the market.
