Bajaj Chetak 3001 Launched At Rs 99,990 - 127km Range
Indian two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj has launched the Chetak 3001 scooter in India. The Bajaj Chetak 3001 electric scooter is priced at Rs 99,990 (ex-showroom).
The Chetak 3001 is the fourth version of the electric scooter to be based on the 35 Series after the 3501, 3502 and 3503 (launched but still to arrive on our roads). The new Chetak 3001 replaces the previous generation's Chetak 2903 scooter.
The new Chetak 3001 is powered by a 3kWh battery pack that offers a claimed range of 127km on a single charge. The IP 67-rated battery pack of the Chetak 3001 can be charged using the provided 750W rapid charger with a 0-80% charge taking 3 hours and 50 minutes. Power and torque figures have not been revealed.
Other highlights of the new Bajaj Chetak 3001 include a metal body(the only one in its class) and class-leading 35-litre under-seat storage. The optional TecPac adds features like Call Accept/Reject, Music Control, Guide Me Home Lights, Hill Hold Assist, Reverse Light and Auto-Flashing Stop Lamp to the Chetak 3001, but owners wanting these additions will have to pay extra to get them.

Bookings for the Bajaj Chetak 3001 are now open across the firm's Chetak dealerships across the nation and the electric scooter will shortly be available to order on Amazon as well. Customers buying the Bajaj Chetak 3001 will be able to choose between three colour options - Red, Yellow and Blue.
