Bajaj Auto is introducing a new variant of the Pulsar NS200, known for its popularity among the 200 cc motorcycle segment in India. This latest variant comes with a noteworthy change - the replacement of upside-down forks with telescopic forks at the front. Additionally, it switches from a dual-channel a single-channel ABS, aiming to the motorcycle more accessible to broader audience.
This strategic move by Bajaj Auto seeks to enhance the appeal of the Pulsar NS200 by offering it at a price point lower than the current model, priced at ₹1,59,532 ex-showroom.

The Pulsar NS200 features a Triple Spark DTS-i 4V, liquid-cooled engine that delivers a power output of 24.16 bhp at 9,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 18.74 Nm at 8,000 rpm. This powertrain is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, ensuring smooth and responsive performance. The motorcycle's design is structured around a perimeter frame, providing a robust foundation for its dynamic handling and stability.
Bajaj dealers across India have begun receiving this updated version of the Pulsar NS200, indicating its imminent availability to potential buyers. The adjustments made to the motorcycle's suspension and braking system, including the introduction of telescopic forks and the continuation of a monoshock at the rear, signal Bajaj Auto's commitment to delivering quality and value. The braking system comprises a 300 mm disc at the front and a 230 mm disc at the rear, ensuring efficient stopping power.

Bajaj Auto's Recent Performance and Future Plans
In terms of sales performance, Bajaj Auto has demonstrated resilience and growth, especially in the international market. For March 2025, the company reported a 1 percent increase in two-wheeler export sales, exporting 132,073 units compared to 130,881 units in March 2024. Domestic sales saw a slight uptick, moving from 183,004 units in March 2024 to 132,073 units in March 2025. These figures include contributions from Bajaj Auto Technology Limited, underscoring the company's expanding footprint.
Looking at the year-to-date figures, Bajaj Auto's exports grew by 7 percent, with a total of 1,674,060 units shipped from April to March 2025. This marks a 33 percent increase over the same period in 2024. Domestic sales also saw growth, with 2,308,249 units sold in April-March 2025, up from 2,250,585 units the previous year. These numbers reflect Bajaj Auto's solid performance and strategic positioning in both domestic and international markets.
