Vinfast Showcases Six Electric Scooters At Auto Expo 2025 - More Than Just A Carmaker
Vinfast, the Vietnamese automobile manufacturer showcased six electric scooters at Auto Expo 2025 alongside its car lineup. Among the showcased models were the Vinfast Evo S, Theon S, Klara S, Feliz S, Vento S, and the DrgnFly electric bicycle.
The Vinfast Evo S caught our attention with its bright yellow colour scheme and retro design. This electric scooter is equipped with a 3.5kWh battery capacity. Another model, the Vinfast Theon S, stands out with its quirky design with an apron-mounted dual-projector headlight setup. It also features a 3.5kWh battery pack and is designed for stability with 16-inch wheels at both the front and rear.
For those who appreciate a blend of retro and modern aesthetics, the Vinfast Klara S is an appealing choice. It also comes with a 3.5kWh battery pack but sports a 14-inch front wheel and a 12-inch rear wheel. Similarly, the Vinfast Feliz S offers a sleek and compact design, with a 16-inch front wheel, a 14-inch rear wheel, and a front disc brake setup, all powered again by a 3.5kWh battery pack.
The Vinfast Vento S, showcased in a subtle paint scheme, shares the same 3.5kWh battery pack with its counterparts. It features a 12-inch wheel on both the front and rear and includes a front disc brake for enhanced safety. Lastly, the Vinfast DrgnFly, a compact electric bicycle, diverges from the scooters with its simple design, chunky tyres on spoked wheels, and a 47.2V, 13.6Ah capacity battery pack. It also includes a front and rear disc brake setup for reliable braking power.
Despite the buzz these electric vehicles generated at the expo, Vinfast has yet to announce any launch dates for them in India, and their arrival in the Indian market remains uncertain. While the launch of these models in India is still up in the air, their showcase certainly adds to the growing anticipation of Vinfast's role in shaping a sustainable and innovative transportation landscape in India.
