TVS RTSx Concept Unveiled At Auto Expo 2025 - Supermoto Surprise
Indian two-wheeler manufacturer TVS has unveiled the RTSx Concept motorbike at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. This reveal of the Supermoto bike marks a significant venture into the competitive 300cc segment for TVS.
This innovative prototype, powered by a 299cc engine, showcases TVS's intentions to diversify its product range with a high-performance model. Although the company has not confirmed the production of the RTSx, this reveal indicates a keen interest in the supermoto market, aiming to capture the attention of enthusiasts alongside established models like the KTM 390 SMC R in India.

The TVS RTSx Concept, with its departure from traditional TVS designs, utilizes the RTR 310's frame but introduces a strikingly different look, setting the stage for a new chapter in TVS' portfolio.
The design of the RTSx Concept is a bold move away from previous models, featuring a sleek and aggressive front end characterized by a sharply styled headlight and mudguard. It stands out with a long single seat and a minimalist tail section, accentuated by a white subframe, deviating visually from the norm. This aesthetic is further heightened by its vibrant yellow and white color scheme, making the motorcycle not just a potential powerhouse on the road but also a visually appealing piece of machinery.

Engine and Performance Highlights
The heart of the RTSx Concept lies in its powerful 299cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine is designed to churn out an impressive 35bhp at 9000rpm and 28.5Nm of torque at 7000rpm, paired with a six-speed gearbox.
A significant feature of this powertrain is the incorporation of a bi-directional quickshifter, enhancing the bike's performance capabilities. TVS boasts of the concept's acceleration, claiming it can go from 0-60kmph in just 2.8 seconds and 0-100kmph in 6.3 seconds, which speaks volumes about the potential speed and agility of the RTSx.

Despite its promising speed credentials, the RTSx Concept presents a challenge with its seat height of 875mm, potentially making it less accessible for riders of shorter stature. Nonetheless, its overall kerb weight of 144kg promises an engaging and thrilling ride. The motorcycle is fitted with 17-inch wheels, and features 43mm USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear, ensuring that it delivers a dynamic and responsive ride quality.
The RTS X Concept is TVS's ambitious foray into the supermoto arena, anticipating its entry into a market filled with eager motorbike aficionados. While official production plans remain unannounced, the concept's presentation at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 signals TVS's exploration into new market segments.
With its captivating design, cutting-edge engine technology, and promising performance figures, the RTS X Concept is poised to carve a niche for TVS, offering riders an invigorating experience on the road. This move signifies a bold step by TVS towards meeting the evolving demands of Indian motorbike enthusiasts, aiming to provide them with an unparalleled supermoto experience.
