Auto Expo 2025: TVS Jupiter CNG Showcased At Bharat Mobility Global Expo - World's First CNG Scooter
The TVS Jupiter CNG, the world's first CNG-powered scooter has been unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The TVS Jupiter CNG demonstrates a dual-fuel system, allowing it to run on both CNG and petrol, which significantly increases its efficiency and range. Although TVS has revealed the Jupiter 125 CNG as a concept, the company has yet to announce a launch date for the Indian market.
The Jupiter CNG's design ingeniously fits a 1.4kg CNG tank in the area usually used for underseat storage, cleverly hidden by a plastic cover. This design choice ensures the scooter's look and functionality remain unaltered. Moreover, it houses a 2-litre petrol tank within the floorboard, with a filler nozzle placed in the front apron.
Advancements in Fuel Efficiency
The dual-fuel capability of the Jupiter CNG is a significant leap forward, boasting an impressive fuel efficiency of 84km per kg of CNG and a total range of 226km when combining petrol and CNG.
