Auto Expo 2025: Honda Activa e: Price To Be Revealed At The Bharat Mobility Global Expo
Honda's Activa e: electric scooter made its global debut in India on November 27, 2024. This launch also featured the new QC1 e-scooter. As Honda's first fully electric scooter, it includes swappable battery packs and the Honda RoadSync Duo feature. The company plans to start taking bookings from January 1, 2025, with deliveries beginning in February. The price will be revealed at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo starting January 17 in New Delhi.
Activa e: Pricing & Competitors
The Activa e: is expected to compete with models like Hero Vida V2, Bajaj Chetak 2903, Ola S1 X, and TVS iQube. These competitors are priced between Rs 74,999 and Rs 96,000 (ex-showroom). Therefore, it's anticipated that the Activa e: will be priced around Rs 80,000 (ex-showroom). The Honda RoadSync Duo variant might cost an additional Rs 5,000-7,000 compared to the base model.

Design & Features
Drawing inspiration from Honda's popular ICE scooter Activa, the Activa e: showcases a similar design. It features premium elements such as all-LED lighting and diamond-cut alloy wheels. Other highlights include a flat footboard and a dual-tone seat with a grab handle. Customers can choose from five colours: Pearl Shallow Blue, Pearl Misty White, Pearl Serenity Blue, Matt Foggy Silver Metallic, and Pearl Igneous Black.
Advanced Technology
The Activa e: comes equipped with a vibrant 7-inch TFT instrument console that provides navigation as standard. Connectivity to the Honda RoadSync Duo app is optional. Users can switch between day and night modes for optimal screen brightness. Additionally, the H-Smart feature offers functionalities like Smart Find, Smart Safe, Smart Unlock, and Smart Start.
Performance Specifications
This electric scooter offers three riding modes: Econ, Standard, and Sport. It includes two portable battery packs of 1.5 kWh each from Honda Power Pack Energy India Pvt. Ltd., located in Bengaluru. According to internal tests by Honda, the Activa e: can travel up to 102 km on a single charge. It accelerates from 0 to 60 kmph in just 7.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 80 kmph.
Honda's latest offering aims to capture the growing electric vehicle market in India by combining innovative features with competitive pricing. With its launch set for early next year, it promises to be a strong contender among existing electric scooters in the country.
