Ather 450S 3.7kWh Launched At Rs 1.46 Lakh - 161 Km Range
Ather Energy has launched a new variant in its 450S electric scooter, the 450S 3.7kWh. The new Ather 450S 3.7kWh is priced at Rs 1,45,999, ex-showroom, Bangalore.
Deliveries for the new Ather 450S 3.7kWh will start this month. Bookings are now open online and at their closest Ather dealerships. The new 450S 3.7kWh costs Rs 16,000 over the 2.9kWh variant.
Ather 450S 3.7kWh - The Big Battery Upgrade
The most significant update in the Ather 450S 3.7kWh is its larger battery pack which now means that it gets the same battery pack options as the 450X model. The new 450S with the 3.7kWh battery pack sports an increased IDC-certified range of 161km, compared to the 115km offered on the 450S 2.9.
The upgraded battery pack, however, doesn't mean that the 450S offers the same performance as the 450X. The 450S continues to push out 7.24bhp and 22Nm of peak torque. The Ather 450S sprints from 0-40km/h in 3.9 seconds and tops out at 90km/h.
Ather 450S 3.7kWh - Features
The Ather 450S 3.7kWh continues to offer four riding modes: Smart Eco, Eco, Ride, and Sport. These modes allow riders to optimise their experience based on preference or conditions. The new variant retains its sharp styling and dimensions, including the 12-inch wheels on both ends.
In terms of technology, the Ather 450S is equipped with a 7-inch LCD dashboard that provides turn-by-turn navigation and supports AtherStack OTA software updates. Additional features include hill-hold functionality and Fall Safe technology, ensuring rider safety.
Ather 450S 3.7kWh - Warranty and Pricing
The Ather 450S 3.7kWh gets the Eight70 warranty package as standard, covering the battery for eight years or up to 80,000km while guaranteeing a minimum of 70 per cent battery health over this period.
