India Bike Week 2025: Aprilia RS 457 Unveiled with New Colour Schemes

Italian bike manufacturer Aprilia has unveiled the RS 457 with three new colour options: Racing Replica Black, Arsenic Yellow, and Snake Blue. The Racing Replica Black scheme draws inspiration from Aprilia's MotoGP racing bike and is borrowed from the more powerful Aprilia RS 660. These new colour options were first showcased during the EICMA 2025 event in Milan.

Aprilia RS 457 With New Colours

The RS 457's Racing Replica Black option features MotoGP-inspired graphics, while the Snake Blue variant gets a dynamic three-tone scheme with blue, red, and black for a sporty and racing look. The Arsenic Yellow has a cleaner look with silver and black highlights.

Apart from the new colour schemes, the Aprilia RS 457 retains its existing features and powertrain. It is powered by the same 457 cc parallel twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 47.6 BHP of power and 43.5 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch. The bike can achieve a top speed of around 190 km/h.

In terms of technology, the RS 457 comes equipped with ride-by-wire throttle control, a full LED lighting setup, a 5-inch TFT display, multilevel traction control, and ABS with selectable riding modes (Sport, Rain, Road).

The motorcycle is built on an aluminium twin-spar chassis with a steel tube trellis subframe, and premium 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. The suspension setup includes an upside-down (USD) front fork and a rear monoshock. Braking is managed by a 320 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear disc, and dual-channel ABS.

Aprilia has not revealed any price changes for the new colour options. In India, the Aprilia RS 457 is currently priced at 4.57 lakh (ex-showroom). It rivals other middleweight supersport bikes such as the KTM RC 390, Kawasaki Ninja 400, and Yamaha YZF-R3. The RS 457 is the entry-level supersport model in Aprilia's lineup.
