Greaves Electric Mobility has reported remarkable growth in recent times, with sales surpassing 6,000 electric two-wheelers in March 2025. This represents a 52% month-on-month increase, according to Vahan data, underscoring the rising popularity of electric scooters in India. The company's success is indicative of the potential for electric vehicles to dominate the urban mobility landscape in the coming years.

The transition towards electric mobility is part of a larger shift within Greaves Cotton Limited, GEML's parent company. The Ampere Reo 80 will be available for delivery across India later this month. Offering an affordable, feature-rich scooter that caters to the needs of urban commuters, GEML is hoping to make a significant impact on the adoption of electric mobility in India with its new Reo 80.
