Ampere Magnus Neo Achieves National Record: 2300km In Just Over A Week On An Electric Scooter
The Ampere Magnus Neo, a newly introduced electric scooter by Greaves Electric Mobility, has set a new record. It completed a journey stretching roughly 2,300 km in eight days, traveling from Bengaluru, where Greaves Electric Mobility is headquartered, to New Delhi's Bharat Global Mobility Expo, held at Pragati Maidan.
This remarkable feat has not only placed the scooter in the India Book of Records for the "Longest Journey by a City-Speed Family Electric Scooter" but has also reinforced Ampere's dominant position in the electric two-wheeler sector.
Embarking on this historic ride on January 6, 2025, from Bengaluru and arriving in Delhi on January 15, 2025, the Magnus Neo showcased its robust capabilities by navigating through varied landscapes and weather conditions to reach the Bharat Global Mobility Expo 2025.
This journey highlighted the scooter's advanced technology and the increasing practicality of electric scooters for everyday use, marking a significant moment in India's electric mobility evolution.
Features and Design of Magnus Neo
The Magnus Neo, which is an evolution of the acclaimed Ampere Magnus, embodies the concept of "The Power of More" through significant upgrades in style, power, durability, economy, and safety. It boasts a state-of-the-art LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery, offering a commendable range of over 100 km on a single charge and achieving top speeds of 65 km/h.
With a charge time of 5-6 hours and equipped with 12" alloy wheels, this e-scooter sets a high standard for its category, ensuring stability and extended journey capabilities without sacrificing performance.

Additionally, it comes with an impressive battery warranty of 5 years or 75,000 km, whichever is reached first, making it an attractive option for potential electric vehicle owners looking for both style and substance.
