2026 Triumph Street Triple 765 RX & Moto2 Edition Revealed - The Sportiest Street Triple 765s

British bikemaker Triumph has revealed the all-new 2026 Street Triple 765 RX and Moto 2. These track-focused variants join the existing R and RS models to complete the Street Triple 765 range.

Both the Street Triple 765 RX and the Moto 2 are powered by the same 765cc inline-triple engine found in the existing RS variant. The liquid-cooled engine pushes out 128bhp at 12,000rpm and 80Nm of peak torque at 9,500rpm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox aided by a slip & assist clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter.

The big change in the 2026 Street Triple RX is the suspension setup at the front end. Triumph has replaced the Showa Big Piston forks with higher-specification 41mm Öhlins NIX30 inverted forks that are fully adjustable for preload and damping. Rear suspension duties are handled by an Öhlins STX40 piggyback reservoir monoshock, which mirrors the specification of the RS and offers full adjustability.

The new 765 RX features clip-on handlebars that help alter the riding position significantly. These bars are positioned lower and further forward than the standard wide handlebars on the regular Street Triple 765.

Braking hardware consists of twin 310mm floating discs gripped by radial-mount Brembo Stylema four-piston monobloc callipers at the front and a 220mm disc clamped by a single-piston calliper. The system is actuated by a Brembo MCS span-adjustable lever and is supported by a Continental multi-mode cornering ABS unit.

The limited-run Street Triple 765 Moto2 Edition returns to the lineup with another restricted production run. This Street Triple 765 Moto2 Edition features the same clip-on handlebars and Öhlins suspension package as the RX but adds lightweight carbon fibre bodywork.

Visual distinctions on the Moto2 Edition include carbon fibre side panels and a front mudguard. Each motorcycle receives a machined top yoke that displays the unique production number of the specific unit within the limited global allocation.

Standard electronics include an optimised cornering traction control system with switchable settings. Riders can select from five distinct riding modes comprising Road, Rain, Sport, Rider and Track to adjust throttle response and safety intervention levels accordingly.

The RX is available in a choice of Aluminium Silver or Jet Black paint schemes. Both colour options feature a striking Diablo Red rear subframe and matching wheel pinstripes to differentiate the model from the standard RS.

Steve Sargent, Chief Product Officer, Triumph Motorcycles said: "The success of the Speed Triple 1200 RX has demonstrated the appeal of a sports-focused naked motorcycle, combining precision handling with premium components in a way that resonates with riders who value performance and control. That's why we are now applying the same ethos to the Street Triple family. The new Street Triple 765 RX delivers sharper geometry, premium components, and a specification that makes it equally at home on fast road rides and dedicated track sessions."

"The Moto2 Edition is a celebration of our ongoing partnership with Moto2, which has been instrumental in pushing the boundaries of our engine development. This bike gives fans and collectors a rare opportunity to own a slice of Moto2 action."
