Kawasaki Launches 2026 Z1100 in India at 12.79 lakhs
Japanese auto maker Kawasaki has launched the all-new 2026 Z1100 in India with an updated engine and special features. The bike now delivers more power than the previous Z1000 model and is built similarly to the Ninja 1100 SX sports bike.

Design
Kawasaki wanted a predator-like appeal for this bike, so the Z1100 gets the same fierce and intense Sugomi design as its predecessor. The supernaked sports bike looks sharp and muscular, giving a more aggressive and bold look. It has the same twin LED headlamps, muscular tank and sharp tail section.
Engine
The engine is a 1099cc in-line 4-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine. It delivers a maximum power of 136 PS at 9000 rpm and 113 Nm at 7600 rpm. This is the same engine used in the Ninja 1100 SX and is mated with a 6-speed transmission.
Electronics and technology
This bike features a new 5-inch TFT display, KCMF (Kawasaki Cornering Management function), IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), 3-mode KTRC (Kawasaki TRaction Control), and KQS (Kawasaki Quick Shifter).
Additionally, it is equipped with a Slipper Assist Clutch, Electronic throttle valves, Electronic Cruise Control, Power Modes, KIBS (Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock braking system), dual-channel ABS, and an Economic riding indicator. Other than that, it gets Smartphone connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation, Call and Message alerts.
Safety and Equipment
The bike is built on a lightweight twin-tube aluminium frame for the best control and handling. It has a fully adjustable Showa suspension with a horizontal back link and gas-charged shock absorbers. For braking, it gets dual semi-floating discs at the front and a single disc brake at the rear with Brembo callipers and Dunlop Sportmax Q5A tyres.
Pricing
The new 2026 Kawasaki Z1100 price starts at 12.79 lakhs (ex-showroom) and is available in Ebony/Metallic Carbon Grey. In India, its biggest rival is the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP, which sells for 13.29 lakhs (ex-showroom).
