2026 Kawasaki Vulcan S Launched at ₹8.13 Lakh - New Colourway & E20 Compliant Engine
Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Kawasako.has launched the 2026 Vulcan S cruiser motorcycle at an ex-showroom price of ₹8.13 lakh. The updated 2026 Kawasaki Vulcan S arrives with revised specifications for the new model year and is now E20 compliant.
The 2026 Vulcan S continues to be powered by a 649cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin DOHC engine that is now E20 compliant and produces 59.9bhp at 7,500rpm and 61Nm of peak torque at 6,600rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel through a six-speed return gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch.

The updated 2026 Vulcan S cruiser continues to use a perimeter frame constructed from high-tensile steel. The frame on the 2026 Vulcan S is suspended off a conventional telescopic fork at the front, and a horizontal back-link swingarm at the rear, with 130mm of wheel travel offered at the front and 80mm at the rear.
Braking duties on the 2026 Kawasaki Vulcan S are handled by 300mm disc at the front, clamped down by dual-piston callipers, and a 250mm disc at the rear that is clamped down by a single-piston calliper. The brakes on the Vulcan S are aided by dual-channel ABS.

Key dimensions on the 2026 Vulcan S, including the 705mm seat height and 130mm ground clearance, remain unchanged. However, the 2026 version of the Vulcan S is 6kg heavier than before, with a kerb weight of 235kg.
The 2026 Kawasaki Vulcan S features the firm's ERGO-FIT system, which allows riders to adjust the seat, footpeg, and handlebar positions to suit their body size, offering a range of ergonomic configurations via multiple adjustment settings. The Vulcan S features LED lighting, and its instrumentation comprises both analogue and digital elements.

Finally, the 2026 Kawasaki Vulcan S is offered in a new colourway, Metallic Flat Spark Black, which replaces the Pearl Matte Sage Green colour offered on its predecessor.
