2026 Kawasaki Versys 650 ADV Key updates
The Japanese manufacturer is updating its entire lineup by launching the 2026 models. Earlier, the brand launched the updated Kawasaki Ninja series; now it is time for the Kawasaki Versys 650 ADV.

Apart from fuel compatibility and new colours, the Versys 650 remains mechanically unchanged. It commands 15,000 more than the outgoing model, making this a significant update along with a noticeable price increase.
The ADV is powered by the same 649cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 67 bhp of power and 61 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed return-shift gearbox. This model is now BS6 E20-compliant and meets the emission standards.

The bike's design remains the same, featuring a slim upright stance with wide handlebars that offer a relaxed riding position and good controllability. Additionally, it features twin LED headlights, a new windshield, and LED indicators and tail lamps. It is offered in a new Metallic Graphite Grey with Metallic Spark Black.
It is built on the same tubular diamond, high-tensile steel frame and is equipped with a 41mm inverted fork at the front and a laydown offset monoshock suspension at the rear. It offers 170mm of ground clearance, a large 21L fuel tank and an 845mm seat height, which is ideal for adventure touring motorcycles.

For safety, it features 300mm dual semi-floating petal discs at the front and a 250mm single petal disc at the rear. Technologies include standard Kawasaki offerings such as 2-mode Kawasaki Traction Control, smartphone connectivity, ABS, a 4.3-inch TFT colour display, and full LED lighting.
The 2026 Kawasaki Versys 650 is priced at 8.63 lakh (ex-showroom), and it rivals similar middleweight adventure models, including the Honda NX500, Moto Morini X-Cape 650, CF MOTO 700, and the KTM 890 Adventure R.
