2026 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Launched At ₹11.69 Lakh - New Design & More Tech
Kawasaki has launched the MY 2026 Ninja ZX-6R in India at ₹11.69 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings have opened, and deliveries will begin this week. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R supersport motorcycle arrives in the signature Lime Green paint scheme for the Indian market.
The 2026 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R takes its design cues from Kawasaki's flagship, the ZX-10R. The ZX-6R's fairing integrates a layered cowl, flanked by compact LED headlights. The turn indicators are also LED units. The engine cover and the exhaust sport a blacked-out finish.
The new Ninja ZX-6R draws power from a 636cc in-line four-cylinder engine. The liquid-cooled powerplant pushes out 129PS (with the ram air intake) and 69Nm of peak torque and is paired with a six-speed gearbox, assisted by a bi-directional quickshifter for faster gear changes.
The Ninja ZX-6R features a race-developed pressed aluminium perimeter frame that is suspended off Showa upside-down front forks and an adjustable Uni-Trak rear mono-shock. Braking is handled by dual 310mm discs at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear. The new ZX-6R rides on 17-inch alloy wheels shod with 120/70 (front) and 180/55 (rear) tyres.
Kawasaki has packed the new ZX-6R with electronic aids. including dual-channel ABS, traction control, and multiple ride modes as standard. The ZX-6R also features a colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity that allows riders to access navigation, call alerts, and other functions via the Kawasaki Rideology app.
In global markets, Kawasaki has also introduced fresh paint options. Shades such as Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray and Metallic Spark Black join the traditional Lime Green. India currently gets the Lime Green colourway as its only option.
