2026 Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Unveiled: 178 bhp, New Tech, Lighter Build
Ducati has revealed the 2026 Multistrada V4 RS in international markets, blending superbike-level power with touring comfort. The new Ducati Multistrada V4 RS sports upgraded components, lighter weight, enhanced electronics, and a steely focus on performance for riders seeking both speed and long-distance capability.
At the core of the 2026 Multistrada V4 RS is the Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, delivering 178 bhp at 12,250 rpm and 118 Nm of torque at 9,500 rpm. The V4 RS comes with a dry clutch and an Akrapovič exhaust system.

Ducati has refined the design with weight reduction a priority. A new titanium rear subframe cuts approximately 2.5 kg compared to the standard model. Carbon fibre parts like the front fender, handguards, and exhaust heat shields further trim weight, while retaining structural strength.
The Multistrada V4 RS' electronic package gets substantial updates. Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) makes its debut with predictive algorithms that adjust intervention levels for rider control and safety. The RS offers five riding modes-Race, Sport, Touring, Urban, and Wet-and four suspension presets: Track, Dynamic, Touring, and Low Grip.

Visuals and exclusivity are also part of the formula. The V4 RS is launched as a numbered limited series, each unit marked with a black anodised plate on the triple clamp showing its unique number. The bike's RS livery, forged carbon components, and techno-polymer tail unit add visual flair and texture.
Ducati claims the V4 RS is currently the most powerful adventure bike in its class. Alongside performance enhancements and premium materials, it retains touring functionality: the titanium subframe is compatible with a top case to carry luggage, combining sport and utility.

The 2026 Multistrada V4 RS is expected to arrive in select international markets by late next year. In India, on-road price estimates for major cities list figures upward of ₹44-₹51 lakh, depending on local taxes and variant pricing. Ducati is anticipated to position the RS as a premium variant above the standard V4 Touring line.
