The biggest change is Yamaha's improved Enhanced Power Assist system. Yamaha claims that the system gives a stronger push when starting off, climbing hills, or riding with a passenger. It uses a high-performance battery with the Smart Motor Generator for smoother, quieter acceleration.
While the power output remains the same, Yamaha claims that the scooters feel quicker off the line. The technology also works together with Yamaha's start-stop system, ensuring a smoother ride and improved mileage..

For those who love their scooters to be packed with tech, Yamaha has added a colour TFT display to the top-spec Fascino S. This display connects to the Y-Connect app for turn-by-turn navigation, using Google Maps. Riders can also see intersection alerts and street names directly on the screen.
Both scooters now get new colour options. The Fascino S gets a new Matte Grey colourway, while the Fascino Disc adds a new Metallic Light Green, and the Drum variant sports a new Metallic White paint scheme. The RayZR Street Rally is now offered in a new Matte Grey Metallic, and the RayZR Disc gets a bold Silver White Cocktail finish.
Both models continue to offer Yamaha's hybrid technology, which combines an internal combustion engine with electric assist for better fuel efficiency. This setup makes them more responsive in city traffic without sacrificing mileage.
Speaking about the launch of the updated hybrid scooters Itaru Otani, Chairman, Yamaha Motor India Group said, "Yamaha's 125cc Hybrid scooter range has consistently delighted customers with its dynamic styling, superior comfort, and fuel-efficient performance. The introduction of the new 'Enhanced Power Assist' function marks another step forward in enhancing everyday riding convenience and instilling greater confidence among commuters.
Further elevating the appeal, the launch of new colour variants brings a refreshing vibrancy to the entire scooter lineup. These updates are a direct reflection of the insightful feedback received from customers through our various engagement platforms. We are confident that these thoughtful upgrades will resonate strongly with our customers and continue to strengthen Yamaha's presence in the 125cc scooter segment."
