2025 Yamaha Aerox 155 Launched At Rs 1,50,130 - OBD-2B Compliant, Visual Tweaks & More
Japanese two-wheeler specialist Yamaha has launched the updated 2025 Aerox 155 maxi scooter in India. Prices for the 2025 Yamaha Aerox 155 start at Rs 1,50,130 (ex-showroom).
The biggest change to the 2025 Yamaha Aerox 155 is the fact that its engine is now compliant with the latest OBD-2B emission norms. The engine remains otherwise unchanged mechanically.
The other change is that the top-spec S variant of the 2025 Yamaha Aerox 155 - priced at Rs 1,53,430 (ex-showroom) - now gets a new colour scheme. The new Ice Fluo Vermillion colourway replaces the previous Grey Vermillion paint scheme. The Racing Blue colourway has also been tweaked with updated graphics.
The new 2025 Yamaha Aerox 155 remains unchanged compared to its predecessor. Its 155c, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with variable valve actuation, borrowed from the R15, pushes out 14.75bhp at 8,000rpm and 13.9Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The Aerox 155's engine is paired with a CVT gearbox.
Suspension duties continue to be taken care of by a telescopic fork at the front and twin shocks at the rear. The Aerox 155 rides on 14-inch wheels draped with 110/80 (front) and 140/70 (rear) tyres. Braking duties are taken care of by a disc brake at the front and a drum at the rear.
The Yamaha Aerox 155 comes packed with a host of electronic aids like Traction Control System (TCS), single-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and Automatic Stop & Start System (SSS), and it also features a Smart Key that enables a host of functions aimed at convenience along with Yamaha's Y-Connect Bluetooth setup for the negative LCD instrumentation.
The sporty maxi-scooter also features LED lighting - headlight, positioning, taillight and indicators and a smart motor generator along with a side-stand engine cut-off function.
