2025 TVS Jupiter 125 Teased: Minor Cosmetic Improvements & Other Changes Expected
TVS Motor is set to enhance its presence in the Indian scooter market with the introduction of the new TVS Jupiter 125. As the country's second favorite scooter brand, trailing only behind Honda's Activa, Jupiter's latest model aims to solidify TVS' footing in the competitive 125cc segment.
This strategic move follows the success of the Jupiter 110, which debuted last year with a fresh design language. The anticipation for the Jupiter 125's release is high, especially after a teaser was shared on TVS' social media platforms, hinting at its imminent arrival with the promise of style, power, and performance.
The upcoming Jupiter 125 is expected to inherit several design cues from its predecessor, the Jupiter 110, including sleek horizontal LED DRLs, stylish LED turn indicators, and LED taillights.
Moreover, features like the 12-inch wheels, a 220mm front petal disc brake, a front fuel filler cap, and a spacious underseat storage area are likely to be retained or enhanced. The engine, a 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled powerhouse, is anticipated to continue, offering 8 bhp and 10.5 Nm without iGO Assist, and slightly more with it, producing 8.44bhp and 11.1Nm, all paired to a CVT.
The launch window for the new TVS Jupiter 125 is expected to coincide with the festive season, positioning it as a formidable contender against other family scooters in the 125cc category such as the Honda Activa 125, Suzuki Access, Hero Destini 125, and Yamaha Fascino. In terms of pricing, the Jupiter 125 is predicted to command a higher price tag than its current variant, which is priced between Rs 80,640 and Rs 91,821 (ex-showroom), reflecting the added features and enhancements.
