2025 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Launched At Rs 1.54 Lakh - More Than Just An Emissions Upgrade
Indian motorcycle manufacturer TVS has launched the updated 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V. The 2025 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is priced at Rs 1.54 lakh (ex-showroom), about Rs 5,400 more than its predecessor.
The big news about the 2025 update to the Apache RTR 200 4V is the fact that the bike is now compliant with OBD-2B norms. The engine continues to push out 20.8 PS of peak power at 9,000 rpm and 17.25 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch.

However, there are even more changes that have been brought to the 2025 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, both mechanical and cosmetic, that make that price hike seem like a bargain.
The biggest of these changes come in the form of the new 37mm Upside Down (USD) front suspension, which TVS claims helps give the Apache RTR 200 4V superior control and sharper cornering capability. Also new is the hydroformed handlebar, which is said to help with handling.
TVS has also given the 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V a new red-painted front alloy wheel and refreshed graphics and the sport 200cc motorcycle is offered in three colour options - Glossy Black, Matte Black, and Granite Grey.
The 2025 TVS Apache continues to come loaded with a host of tech including the firm's SmartXonnect setup with Bluetooth and voice assistant, three riding modes - Sport, Urban and Rain, Dual Channel ABS with Rear Lift-off Protection.
Speaking of the launch, Vimal Sumbly, Head Business - Premium, TVS Motor Company, said, "The TVS Apache brand is not just about a motorcycle - it's a global movement that has inspired a passionate community of over 6 million riders in two decades. Driven by our racing DNA, TVS Apache motorcycles have consistently delivered a powerful blend of performance, precision, and technology, captivating the imagination of youth and enthusiasts worldwide. The upgraded 2025 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V continues this legacy - pushing the limits of design and engineering to offer next-generation riders a thrilling, track-bred experience on every ride."
