2025 Kawasaki Ninja 650 Launched In India: Prices Start At Rs 7.27 Lakh
Kawasaki has introduced its 2025 Ninja 650 model priced at Rs 7.27 lakh, featuring a fresh green with white/yellow livery. This update aligns the motorcycle with the stringent OBD-2B norms, leading to an Rs 11,000 increase in its price. Besides the Ninja 650, the Ninja 500 and the Eliminator have also been updated to comply with these environmental standards. The aesthetic refresh to the Ninja 650 mirrors the livery patterns seen on other models in the Kawasaki range, such as the Ninja ZX-10R and the Ninja ZX-6R.
Despite the price adjustment, the Ninja 650 maintains its traditional design but dons the new color scheme for a refreshed appearance. The price for the previous model year, the 2024 Ninja 650, was positioned at Rs 7.16 lakh before this adjustment. It's important to note that the outgoing model was previously available with a discount of Rs 45,000, making this price hike particularly noteworthy for prospective buyers.

Technical Specs and Compliance Updates

While the latest iteration adheres to the OBD-2B norms, its performance capabilities remain consistent with the previous model.
Kawasaki has also brought its Ninja 500 and Eliminator models up to speed with the OBD-2B regulatory norms, which officially came into effect on April 1, 2025. While the Ninja 500's price remains stable despite a recent Rs 5,000 hike, the Eliminator's price has been adjusted upwards by Rs 14,000. These updates reflect Kawasaki's commitment to meeting environmental standards across its model lineup.

This update follows the launch of the 2025 Eliminator 500, sharing its fully-faired design, yet the Ninja 500 stands out with its unique color scheme.

A notable aspect of the 2025 Ninja 500 is its pricing. It is now listed at Rs 5.29 lakh (ex-showroom), marking a modest increase of Rs 5,000 from the 2024 model's Rs 5.24 lakh (ex-showroom) price tag.
