2025 Honda XL750 Transalp - What's Changed?

Honda has updated the XL750 Transalp's design by taking cues from its larger sibling, the Africa Twin. The big design tweak to the 2025 Transalp comes in the form of a new headlight unit with dual LED high/low unified projector lenses.

Also new is the revised visor unit and the ADV also gets an emergency stop signal feature and an automatic turn signal cancelling function. The 2025 Honda XL750 Transalp is offered in two colour options in India: Ross White and Graphite Black.

The Honda XL750 Transalp also features a new 5.0-inch colour TFT screen which offers better visibility in direct sunlight. The Bluetooth-enabled screen connects with your phone using the Honda Roadsync app enabling riders to receive call & SMS alerts, access turn-by-turn navigation, and control music & voice commands on the go.

Mechanically, the big change to the 2025 XL750 Transalp comes in the form of a revised suspension setup which consists of Showa 43mm SFF-CA upside-down (USD) front forks and a rear monoshock that feature increased compression and damping.

The Honda XL750 Transalp continues to ride on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels that are shod with tubed tyres. Braking duties are handled by dual 310mm wave discs with hydraulic 2-piston callipers at the front and a 256 mm single disc with a single-pot calliper at the rear with dual-channel ABS as standard.

The 2025 Honda XL750 Transalp continues to draw power from a 755cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that pushes out 90.51bhp at 9,500rpm and 75Nm of peak torque at 7,250rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch.

The XL750 Transalp's engine features ride-by-wire tech that enables features like 5 riding modes: Sport, Standard, Rain, Gravel and User (custom user-defined mode). Also seen is the firm's Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC).

Speaking about the launch of the 2025 Honda XL750 Transalp, Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, said, "We are delighted to introduce the new XL750 Transalp in India. Since its debut, the Transalp has been a symbol of reliable adventure riding and has been embraced by explorers around the world. With the launch of this updated model, equipped with advanced features and purposeful design, we are confident that the new XL750 Transalp will surely excite India's adventure enthusiasts.
