Honda's commuter motorcycle, the Shine 125, has undergone its latest update, with the new 2025 model debuting with a starting price of Rs 84,493. The 2025 Honda Shine maintains its reputation for reliability and efficiency, but has been updated with contemporary features including a fully digital console. The bike is available in two configurations: one with a drum brake and another with a disc brake, catering to a range of preferences and riding styles.
The Shine 125 is now presented in an array of six new paint schemes. These include Pearl Igneous Black, Geny Gray Metallic, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Rebel Red Metallic, Decent Blue Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue. Despite these aesthetic updates, the bike retains its familiar commuter-friendly design, characterized by simple and functional bodywork.
The 2025 Honda Shine 125 is powered by a 123.94cc single-cylinder engine that is OBD2-compliant. It delivers 10.63 bhp and 11Nm of torque and is paired with a five-speed gearbox. The Shine 125 ensures a smooth ride thanks to its telescopic front forks and dual rear springs, while offering a choice between drum and disc front brakes complemented by a rear drum brake for reliable stopping power.
The introduction of a fully digital display marks a significant upgrade for the Shine 125, integrating all essential information such as speedometer and distance to empty among other features.
At Rs. 89,245 for the disc brake variant, the 2025 Honda Shine 125 positions itself as a competitive option in the commuter bike market, standing toe-to-toe with rivals like the TVS Radeon and the Hero Super Splendor.
