2025 Honda CBR250RR Launched In Japan
The 2025 Honda CBR250RR has made its debut in Japan, offering a single variant with three distinct colour options. The new Matte Bullet Silver is priced at JPY 902,000 (around ₹5.34 lakh), while the Pearl Glare White and Grand Prix Red are available for JPY 940,500 (approximately ₹5.56 lakh). Unfortunately, Honda has no plans to introduce this model to the Indian market due to low sales volumes.
The Matte Bullet Silver features a matte grey finish with white underbelly and blue decals. The Pearl Glare White pays homage to the 1994 Honda CBR250RR with its white base and red and purple graphics. Meanwhile, the Grand Prix Red draws inspiration from Honda's renowned MotoGP colours.

Powering the Honda CBR250RR is a 249.7 cc parallel-twin engine that is liquid-cooled and equipped with a DOHC setup. This engine delivers a maximum power of 41.56 bhp at 13,000 rpm and peak torque of 25 Nm at 11,000 rpm. The motorcycle features a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch, complemented by a bi-directional quickshifter.
The bike employs a diamond-type frame supported by Showa upside-down forks at the front and a 5-step adjustable monoshock at the rear. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, with the front tyre measuring 110/70 and the rear one at 140/70. Braking is handled by discs on both ends, featuring twin-piston calipers in front and a single-piston caliper at the rear.
The Honda CBR250RR weighs in at 169 kg with a seat height of 790 mm, making it quite accessible for riders. This combination ensures stability while maintaining agility for an engaging riding experience.
This motorcycle comes equipped with all-LED lighting, hazard lamps, an LCD instrument cluster, and ride-by-wire technology that offers three riding modes: Comfort, Sport, and Sport+. These features enhance both safety and performance for riders.
Although this model won't be available in India, it showcases Honda's commitment to innovation in motorcycle design. The CBR250RR combines advanced engineering with stylish aesthetics to appeal to enthusiasts worldwide.
