2025 Honda CB650R & CBR650R Reintroduced In India: Key Specs & Pricing
Honda has reintroduced the CB650R and CBR650R in India, with the CB650R priced at Rs 9.20 lakh and the CBR650R at Rs 9.99 lakh. Both models are equipped with a 649cc inline-four engine, delivering 95hp and 63Nm of torque, consistent with their European counterparts. These bikes come in two colour options: Honda's signature red and a subtle matte black.
Features & Specifications
The most significant update for these motorcycles is the inclusion of a new 5-inch TFT display. This feature offers Bluetooth connectivity through Honda's RoadSync App. The design has also been refined for 2025, with noticeable changes like a sharper tail section. However, neither bike includes E-clutch technology.

In terms of pricing, the CB650R is positioned higher than its direct competitor, the Triumph Trident 660, which costs Rs 8.10 lakh. It is also close in price to the larger Kawasaki Z900 at Rs 9.38 lakh. The CBR650R, a fully-faired middleweight bike, is priced at Rs 9.99 lakh and competes with models like the Triumph Daytona 660 (Rs 9.72 lakh) and Suzuki GSX-8R (Rs 9.25 lakh).
Market Competition
The CBR650R's pricing places it just Rs 18,000 below the more powerful Triumph Street Triple R, which offers additional features. Despite this competitive landscape, Honda aims to attract buyers with its unique offerings and brand reputation.
Deliveries for both the CB650R and CBR650R are set to commence in February. Additionally, customers who pre-booked the NX500 adventure bike will receive their deliveries as they resume this month.
Honda had previously reduced the power output of these bikes to 87hp to better suit Indian fuel conditions but has now restored it to match European standards. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom Delhi.
