2025 Ducati Scrambler Icon Dark Launched In India At Rs 9.97 Lakh: The Most Affordable Ducati Scrambler

Ducati India has pleasantly surprised motorcycle enthusiasts by launching the 2025 Scrambler Icon Dark, an all-black version of its beloved Scrambler range. Priced competitively at ₹9.97 lakh (ex-showroom), this new addition stands as the most budget-friendly option in the Scrambler series, undercutting the standard Scrambler Icon by approximately ₹94,000. This move by Ducati aims to broaden its appeal and make the iconic Scrambler more accessible to Indian riders.

The 2025 Scrambler Icon Dark distinguishes itself with a comprehensive black theme encompassing its engine, alloy wheels, front forks, frame, mudguard, and tail section, all adorned in matte black. The design also features a smoked headlamp lens, offering a stark contrast to the Scrambler Icon which includes an under-seat cowl, absent in this darker variant. Ducati's decision to exclude the under-seat cowl in the Dark Icon variant further emphasizes its minimalist aesthetic, aligning with the bike's overall dark theme.

In terms of performance, the Scrambler Icon Dark does not shy away. It is powered by the same 803 cc L-Twin engine as its Scrambler counterparts, delivering 73 bhp at 8,250 rpm and a peak torque of 65 Nm at 7,000 rpm. This robust engine is coupled with a 6-speed gearbox and comes equipped with a bi-directional quickshifter for seamless riding.

The bike's architecture is supported by a sturdy steel frame, and its suspension system features Kayaba-sourced USD forks in the front and a monoshock at the rear, ensuring a smooth and responsive ride. It rides on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels fitted with Pirelli MT 60 RS tyres, suitable for both urban commutes and light off-road adventures.

Adding to its modern features, the Scrambler Icon Dark boasts a 4.3-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, enhancing the rider's experience with easy access to navigation and communication. Safety is also a priority, with the bike offering four-level traction control, cornering ABS, and two riding modes—Road and Sport. Ducati has already opened bookings for this model, with deliveries to customers commencing shortly.
