2025 Ducati Panigale V4 & V4 S Launched In India: Prices Start At Rs 30 Lakh

The 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 and V4 S have been introduced with significant updates. Priced at Rs 30 lakh and Rs 36.50 lakh, respectively, these models are more expensive than their predecessors. The base Panigale V4 now costs Rs 2.27 lakh more, while the S variant commands a Rs 3.02 lakh premium. These flagship supersports have received major design and chassis upgrades since their debut in 2018.

The engine of the 2025 Panigale V4 remains the same 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 but is now Euro 5+ compliant. It produces 216hp at 13,500rpm, which is an increase of 0.5hp at a higher rpm than before. The peak torque is slightly lower at 120.9 Nm but occurs at a higher rpm of 11,250.

Chassis and Suspension Updates

Ducati has made notable changes to the chassis of the Panigale V4 for 2025. While the front frame remains unchanged, the rear end has been redesigned with a conventional swingarm for the first time since the iconic Ducati 916 model. This new swingarm-rear wheel assembly is lighter by 2.7kg compared to its predecessor.

The suspension system also sees updates with fully adjustable Showa suspension on the standard model and Öhlins electronic suspension on the V4 S variant, allowing for on-the-go adjustments. The tyres are updated to Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa V4 compound while maintaining previous sizes.

Advanced Electronics Suite

Both models feature an updated electronics suite that includes a new 6.9-inch TFT dash with Race eCBS technology. This system monitors lean angle, throttle position, and rear load to apply rear brakes automatically without using the lever physically.

Additional electronic features include traction control, wheelie control, launch control, six-axis IMU enabling cornering aids, bi-directional quickshifter, and ABS—all customisable extensively.

Design Enhancements

Ducati has introduced a new fairing design that improves wind protection and alters both headlight and tail light designs. Winglets have been repositioned forward but maintain previous downforce levels.

The 'S’ variant distinguishes itself further with lighter aluminium wheels, electronic suspension as mentioned earlier, and a lithium-ion battery contributing to a weight saving of 4kg over the standard model.

The standard Panigale V4 weighs in at 191kg while the 'S’ variant tips scales at just 187kg due to these enhancements.

Overall, these updates make the Ducati Panigale V4 lineup more advanced yet pricier than before. With these changes in place along with other upcoming launches like Ducati's plan for introducing fourteen new bikes in India by next year—enthusiasts can expect exciting times ahead from this renowned motorcycle brand.
